1:45 pm - 4:30 pm

This enthralling tour includes a walk through St. Lawrence Market with local historian Bruce Bell. He tells of its fascinating 200 year history, including a visit to the notorious 19th century prison in the basement. After the Market, the tour will proceed outside where Bruce will lead you around Old Town Toronto, including a visit to the Farmer's Market, St. Lawrence Hall (1850), Toronto's First Post Office (1834) and St. James Cathedral (1853). The tour then continues a few blocks east as you head out to the historic Distillery District. This incredible factory complex first built in 1832 is now home to restaurants, theatres and art galleries.  Experience the original cobblestone pathways exactly as they were when visited by notorious Chicago gangsters during the heyday of Prohibition.
