"CAPITALizing on Change"

The key theme of this conference was change, and how law librarians and their organizations can meet the challenges of the next 10 years. The advent of the web and self-service legal research tools have put answers at the fingertips of our traditional clients, changing the sort of guidance and assistance they expect from their librarians. We are beginning to see implications -- and opportunities -- in some of the new technology-driven social networks that are now evolving so quickly.

The Calgary Conference Planning Committee would like to Go Tell it on the Mountain that we trust you will beComing Around the Mountain  to a Rocky Mountain Highin Calgary for the 2011 CALL conference. Why?  Because we law librarians know how to  Climb Every Mountain and search high and low for the answers to all those difficult questions. Come to Calgary, to the Hyatt Regency Hotel situated right next to art galleries, great restaurants, theatres, concert halls and world class shopping. We are a western city and the symbol of hospitality in Calgary is the white cowboy hat. Maybe you will find a hat or boots - just for fun. When the conference is over you will be only an hour or two away from spectacular Banff, Lake Louise and world class tourist attractions in nature. Come to be inspired and know that there may be  Mountains in Our Way but We Climb a Step Everyday, Love Lift us Up Where We Belong On a Mountain High.  It's not how fast we get there, it's what we learn along the way.  It's the Climb!  Come and join us in the journey of "Scaling New Heights" in law libraries.  We are planning an exciting, educational and inspirational conference!
